Selling products at the counter (POS)

1 min read · Updated 22 Sep 2026

  1. Shop → Products: add products with price, HSN code, GST rate and stock.
  2. Shop → Point of Sale: tap products to add them to the cart (it scrolls on long carts), pick the customer (a member or a walk-in), apply a voucher if any, and take payment.
  3. Print a thermal receipt (80 mm) or a full A4 tax invoice.

Things to know

  • POS prices are before GST — tax is added on top (₹1,000 + 18% = ₹1,180).
  • Prices always come from your product list; the counter can't change a price mid-sale.
  • Stock goes down with each sale. A sale is refused if two people sell the last unit at the same moment.
  • Returns: Shop → Sale Returns. Stock adjustments: Stock Management.
