Backing up fingerprints and faces

Fitplex keeps a copy of each member's fingerprints and face so they can be put back on the machine after renewal, or onto a replacement machine.

• New enrolments are saved automatically the moment the machine sends them.
• Settings → Device Integration → Biometric Backup Status shows each member's backup: fingerprints, face, and when.
• Backup asks the machine for everyone's fingerprints and faces. Use it after first connecting a machine, or if the status shows people missing.

"No Backup" for many members?

Usually one of:

1. They have no machine ID — they were never sent to the machine (common after a bulk import).
2. They haven't enrolled a finger or face on the machine yet.
3. Backup hasn't been run since they enrolled.

Please don't delete users or faces from the machine's own menu. Fitplex can put them back from its backup, but members are turned away until it does.
