Connecting a biometric machine

Fitplex works with eSSL / ZKTeco attendance machines in two ways:

• ADMS (push) — the machine connects to Fitplex directly over the internet. Set up under Settings → Device Integration → ADMS: enter your machine's serial number, then point the machine's cloud server setting to the address shown there.
• Middleware — a small program on a PC at your gym reads the machine and sends scans to Fitplex using an API key from Device Integration.

Machine IDs

Every member gets a machine ID (PIN) when they're created in Fitplex, and Fitplex sends them to the machine. Members added in bulk or imported may not have one — they won't be on the machine and can't be recognised. Raise a ticket and we'll assign them.

When a membership expires

Fitplex removes the member's fingerprints and face from the machine. When they renew, Fitplex sends them back from its saved copy — they don't need to re-enrol.
