How check-ins are recorded

Fitplex records attendance from several places. Each appears in Members → Attendance Log with its source:

| Face kiosk | A phone or tablet at the entrance running your gym's /mobile-scan/ page (unlocked with a PIN). |
| Member app | The member checks in from the app. |
| Manual | Front desk marks it. |
Rules you control
Under Settings → Device Integration:
- Deny expired members — expired members are refused and no attendance is recorded. This applies to the machine and the face kiosk.
- Allow multiple check-ins per day, and a daily entry limit.
- Auto check-out after a set number of hours for members who forget to check out.
A "refused" scan only means attendance isn't recorded. It physically stops someone only if your door lock or turnstile is controlled by the machine.
